each month i'll have a rotating burger special. for this month's special i'll be recreating the pastrami burger i made for the 2017 popup burger fundraiser at empress tavern. it's got two 3 ounce freshly ground burger patties, two slices of thee american cheese, steamed brisket pastrami, house smoked and steamed by saul's deli in berkeley, wagyu grilled onions grown locally by j&j ramos farms, MUSTARD!, a pickled lettuce situation for some acid and our black garlic burger sawse on a toasted japanese shokupan style milk bun baked locally by manzanita bakehouse.
